HYDRANEX® is our highly elastic, hydrophilic comfort foam. Hydrophilic means water-attracting: unlike standard PU foam, which repels moisture, hydrophilic foam absorbs moisture and releases it again. This keeps the moisture climate within the foam structure more actively balanced — which in mattress applications can contribute to a more pleasant microclimate.
This moisture behaviour complements the foam’s highly elastic base properties: HYDRANEX® is soft, springy and responsive. It works well as an upper comfort layer in mattresses and toppers — wherever both surface softness and active moisture regulation are wanted.

A highly elastic comfort foam with hydrophilic treatment for a balanced moisture climate
Submit an enquiryHydrophilic means water-attracting. A hydrophilic foam like HYDRANEX® absorbs moisture and releases it again instead of repelling it, supporting a balanced climate within the foam structure. In mattresses this can help transport night sweat away more actively instead of leaving it at the surface.
Standard PU comfort foam (SOLIDEX®) repels moisture. HYDRANEX® has a hydrophilic treatment and absorbs and releases moisture. It also offers higher elasticity and a softer, more conforming surface feel than standard comfort foam.
Yes. HYDRANEX® is typically used as the upper comfort layer on an HR cold foam core (HYLEX®). CT Formpolster produces such multi-layer builds on request as ready-made combinations.
