2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by an external service provider under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. When you visit the site, your browser automatically transmits data (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type, operating system, referrer URL), which is stored in server log files for up to 8 weeks and then automatically deleted. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

3. Contact

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (company, name, contact data, content of the enquiry) solely to handle the enquiry and possible follow-up questions. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation or performance of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). Data is deleted once no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyse website usage (e.g. page views, time on page, visitor origin). This may involve cookies or similar technologies and the transmission of usage data, including your IP address, to Google, where it is stored and evaluated. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future. [Note: a cookie consent banner must be added before go-live, loading Google Analytics only after consent.]

5. Fonts

For a consistent appearance, the IBM Plex Sans typeface is loaded via Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to servers of Google Ireland Limited. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. External links

Our website contains links to external services (e.g. Google Maps for route planning). When you click them you leave our website and the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. These services are not embedded on our pages.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future, and you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in our case the Data Protection Commissioner of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Düsseldorf.

8. Data security

This website uses TLS encryption (visible as “https://” in the address bar), so data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
